The accommodations were clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
they were very accommodating, the breakfast was great they even had advocado for breakfast the food was good.
you could hear the music up the street, but you got used to it, it all worked out we still had fun
Located a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas, the hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was immaculate, spacious and comfortable. A delicious, made-to-order breakfast was included in the price of the room. There were two computers available in the lobby for the guests, along with cocoa tea. The best thing about the Qelqatani, however, was the staff, omnipresent, courteous and anxious to serve, especially Cynthia whose patience and persistence solved my communication problem. I will definitely return to the Qelqatani and will recommend it to my friends.
The breakfast was the best over all the places we stayed in ! They served at least 4 different freshly squeezed juices ! The shower was great. Quiet place, big room. The wifi connection worked on the floor, but not in the room, which was fine by me, Very nice staff ! Very convenient location to the touristy street with shops and restaurants, but I wonder if there was anything else more interesting. Didn't get to explore Puno enough.
Not so much character - we stayed in smaller places throughout our trip.
Super location. They over booked me the first night but set me up elsewhere and went out of their way to make up for it. I understand these things happen and they dealt with it in super form, total and professional service. Our night there was great, super nice room and great breakfast too.
We were bumped the first night due to overbooking but they handled it super well and we were so very satisfied.
Fantastic showers!, Buffet breakfast was the best I have had in 3 months in South America, staff really helpful and friendly, room really clean.
good basic hotel, comfortable rooms and beds - the elevator/lift is handy for those struggling with the altitude. good value for the price - but you dont get the "extras" at this prcice.
Excellent Staff, Very good breakfast, its restaurante is very good (and economic).
The hotel was very good, but the only thing to do in Puno is the lake titikaka tour, the city is awfull.
Very central location--only one block from the main pedestrian restaurant/shopping area and easy for taxis to find and get to. Staff very professional and courteous. Rooms were clean and comfortable (a heater was provided to keep the room warm). Generous breakfast included.
Fabulous value for the money. We had a triple room - comfortable and attractive. Excellent breakfast was included. We also had a good dinner in the dining room. Great location and helpful staff. I highly recommend this hotel.
In principle all comfort was available and sufficient heating (important in June and July) and friendly and attentive staff. Great breakfast for Peruvian conditions and location just in the center of town and all important restaurants and bars.
quite dark rooms even if you put the light on, too few plugs
The room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was good with a wide variety to choose from. When the restaurant was opened for room service the food was very nice. The location was pretty good, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby.
The staff weren't friendly and we had problems when it came to paying our bill with them trying to charge us more than the agreed price. After arguing for nearly an hour they eventually accepted the price we had previously agreed on. Also the chef was off sick on our first night so we were unable to take advantage of the room service facility.
Best showers we have had in Peru.....beautuful hotel, lovely room, friendly staff, great value
Value for money and Large size of room
Found hotel very cold, especially hallway. Unable to access wifi in room. As room faced the road was woken up early in the morning by car horns.
The hotel is very conveniently located just 1 minute walk from the main street. In the hotel lobby was always a thermos of hot tea. The hotel staff is very helpful.
The room was very cold and there was no central heating or heater.
